And just like that, we are starting to think more about next year than this year. We start to plan and prepare. Finding targets and goals. When do I wanna be on my best performance? Where do I wanna improve? And how do I target that? We are approaching a big year.
For me, planing and seeing the overall perspective and project is crucial. Which direction am I going? Those questions aren’t necessarily only relevant when it comes to sport.

This year has been all around weird. And so was my little world cup/championship season. I came well prepared, but somehow I didn't get the best out of myself when it counted. I’m really proud of a few performances, my danish champs ride, short track personal best, and my world champs 12th place. But to be honest I was a bit disappointed in myself. I didn’t leave the international racing season/month with podium flowers and glory, but maybe l left with something else? A lesson learned and a fire lighted for the battles to come.
As important it is to dwell on the past, to learn, as important it is to look at the present moment and at the future. “What can I do today to get better tomorrow”
For now, what I can do to get better, is to unwind & look forward. Next year is going to be so crazy and so fun. I better charge the batteries. I think we are fooling ourselves if we think that the Covid situation is going to change a whole lot just because the calendar changes it’s look, but we did gain a lot of experience this year, so I’m confident that we can pull of the 21’ racing season in a pretty good way.

I red a quote “Embrace uncertainty, some of the most beautiful chapters of your life wont have titles until much later”. It might just be?

The best is yet to come
